After much procrastination, I finally “just ran a wire”. I know people always want to know “what is the best antenna to get started!?”
Truthfully, any antenna you can get your hands on is and up in the best one to get started! I have a simple horizontal sloper running from the corner of the house to the neighbor's fence (with his permission of course).
